Giant Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Nicolai), native to South Africa, is the giant version of its smaller sibling Strelitzia Reginae. The most impressive tropical plant of interior design with its large, glossy leaves resembling banana leaves and white-blue flowers. 'Nicolai' bears the name of Russian Tsar Nicholas I. This plant, reaching 2-4 meters indoors, adds dramatic tropical character to high-ceilinged lobbies, offices and modern living spaces.
